The xMac mini module adds front-panel Thunderbolt and 10Gbps USB connectivity plus two internal M.2 NVMe sockets, while the eGPU module provides up to 2750 MB/s of PCIe bandwidth, an 800W power supply and dual auxiliary GPU power connectors.

The Sonnet DuoModo xMac mini (Intel) / eGPU Rackmount System (DM-ZM-GPU-R) integrates an Intel Mac mini mounting module and Thunderbolt 3 eGPU expansion module inside Sonnet's rugged dual-module 2U rackmount enclosure.
The xMac mini module securely houses a compatible Intel Mac mini while bringing a Thunderbolt port, two USB-C 10Gbps ports and one USB-A 10Gbps port to the front of the rack. The Mac mini itself is sold separately.
Two M-keyed M.2 2280 NVMe sockets are built into the xMac mini module. Each socket connects at PCIe x2, allowing fast local SSD storage to be integrated alongside the computer.
The companion eGPU module provides Thunderbolt 3-connected PCIe expansion for compatible full-length, full-height graphics cards up to 2.5 slots wide, with up to 2750 MB/s of PCIe bandwidth.
An integrated 800W power supply and two 8-pin (6+2-pin) auxiliary power connectors support demanding graphics cards. Dual temperature-controlled variable-speed Noctua fans provide cooling while maintaining low acoustic output.
This configuration is designed for Intel Mac mini systems when used for eGPU operation. Apple M-series Macs do not support conventional external GPU operation.
The steel chassis measures 19 × 16.5 × 3.5 inches (48.3 × 41.9 × 8.9 cm) and includes extension rails for racks 16–24 inches deep.
