The Quantum LTO-7 Data Cartridge (MR-L7MQN-01) is a standard rewritable LTO-7 Ultrium cartridge designed for enterprise backup, long-term archive and offline data retention.
Capacity
LTO-7 provides 6 TB native capacity and up to 15 TB compressed capacity, based on 2.5:1 compression.
Rewritable Media And WORM
MR-L7MQN-01 is rewritable media. Quantum's LTO-7 WORM cartridge is a separate product, MR-L7MQN-02, for Write Once, Read Many workflows.
Encryption
AES-256 encryption is a capability of compatible LTO-7 drives. When encryption is enabled in a supported drive and backup application, data written to this cartridge can be hardware-encrypted; the cartridge itself is not an encryption device.
Tape And Cartridge Format
The cartridge uses 960 m (3,150 ft) of tape and the standard 12.65 mm Ultrium tape width, making it suitable for compatible stand-alone drives and automated libraries.
Media Integrity And Archive
Quantum LTO media is designed for long-term archival storage and is supported by media-integrity analysis and library-management workflows. Quantum specifies a recommended environment of 16 to 25 °C and 20 to 50% relative humidity for LTO-7 media.
Media Care
Protect cartridges from shock, moisture, magnetic fields and contamination, store them vertically in protective cases, and allow them to acclimatise before use after significant environmental changes.

Quantum Delivery Information
Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard Quantum Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).
Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between 9 am and 6 pm.
Orders placed after 2 pm on Fridays and weekends will be processed as normal the following Monday.
Orders placed on Bank Holidays will be processed the next working day.
