The SymplyPRO XTH LTO-9 HH Ethernet Tape Drive combines an expandable two-bay SymplyCABLELESS desktop chassis with accelerated 10GbE iSCSI connectivity. It is designed for shared backup and archive workflows where LTO resources need to be available to compatible physical or virtual hosts over Ethernet.
The chassis ships with one half-height LTO-9 mechanism and supports a second compatible half-height drive. SymplyCABLELESS technology is designed to simplify servicing, drive replacement and later expansion without replacing the enclosure.
Two independent 10GbE SFP+ interfaces provide high-speed Ethernet host connectivity. Symply's iSCSI-to-SAS architecture allows compatible systems to access tape across standard network infrastructure rather than requiring a dedicated SAS HBA at every host.
Each fitted LTO-9 half-height drive provides 18TB native / 45TB compressed capacity per cartridge and up to 300MB/s native throughput. LTO-9 also reads and writes LTO-8 media.
A 12Gb SFF-8644 SAS expansion connection supports additional compatible external tape resources and integrates the appliance into wider LTO workflows.
LTFS supports file-based tape workflows, while AES-256 hardware encryption and LTO WORM media provide options for secure retention, compliance and offline cyber-resilience.
The XTH Ethernet enclosure measures approximately 30 × 21.1 × 13.6cm and weighs around 5.6kg. It uses an integrated premium power supply and active cooling in a robust metal-alloy chassis.

Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard Symply Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).
