Glyph's current specification rates Blackbox Plus SSD models for transfer speeds up to 560MB/s. Actual throughput depends on the connected host, workload and file system.
The USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C interface provides up to 10Gbps link bandwidth and is compatible with USB 3.0 and Thunderbolt 3 hosts through suitable USB-C connectivity.
The aluminium shell provides the structural enclosure and acts as a passive heatsink, while the removable silicone cover adds protection for transport and day-to-day production use.
Blackbox Plus draws its operating power from the host connection, so no external power adapter is required. Its fanless cooling design keeps operation quiet while the aluminium enclosure dissipates heat.
The drive is supplied formatted for macOS and is Time Machine compatible. It can be reformatted for Windows when required.
Glyph includes USB-C to USB-C and USB-C to USB-A cables plus the removable protective cover, providing connection options for current Type-C systems and compatible USB-A hosts.
Glyph's warranty package provides three years of hardware coverage, two years of Level-1 data recovery and one year of advance replacement.

Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard Glyph Technology Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).
Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between 9 am and 6 pm.
Orders placed after 2 pm on Fridays and weekends will be processed as normal the following Monday.
Orders placed on Bank Holidays will be processed the next working day.
