The Western Digital G-RAID PROJECT 2 16TB is a 2-bay enterprise-class desktop storage system for high-resolution media, large project libraries, backup and content retrieval.
The enclosure contains two 7200rpm Ultrastar hard drives, providing the mechanical storage foundation for sustained professional workflows.
The system ships in RAID 0 for maximum usable capacity and performance. RAID 1 can be selected for mirrored redundancy, while JBOD presents the drives independently. RAID mode is changed directly on the device rather than through a software utility.
Thunderbolt 3 provides a 40 Gb/s interface and supports daisy-chaining of additional Thunderbolt devices. USB 3.2 Gen 2 compatibility provides up to 10 Gb/s connectivity with suitable USB-C hosts.
The 16TB model is rated for sequential performance up to 480MB/s read and 480MB/s write. Actual performance varies with RAID mode, host hardware, workload and operating conditions.
The G-RAID PROJECT 2 is designed for demanding creative applications including large video, audio and content libraries, with a 5-year limited manufacturer warranty.

Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard G-Drive Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).
Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between 9 am and 6 pm.
