Glyph SecureDrive+ is a portable storage solution built around real-time, full-disk hardware encryption and practical day-to-day access control. Wireless unlocking via secure Bluetooth helps reduce friction for authorised users while keeping the underlying data protected on the drive itself.
Alongside XTS-AES 256-bit hardware encryption, the drive includes integrated brute-force prevention, anti-hacking protection, and tamper-proof construction. With ExFAT formatting out of the box and wide platform support, SecureDrive+ is well suited to secure file transport, field capture, and controlled access workflows across mixed environments.
Hardware Encryption And Security Validation
Data is protected using real time military-grade XTS-AES 256-bit full disk hardware encryption, helping ensure files remain encrypted even when the drive is moved between systems. The security module is FIPS 140-2 Level-3 validated, supporting deployments where validated cryptographic controls are required.
Secure Bluetooth Unlocking And Biometric Support
SecureDrive+ pairs to a phone using encrypted Bluetooth, enabling unlock with a single press. User authentication is handled via mobile phone using the SecureData Lock app for iOS/Android, with support for FaceID, TouchID, and Android biometric unlocking, plus password retrieval.
Built-In Protection Against Attack And Tampering
Integrated brute-force defence protects against repeated access attempts by erasing all data after 10 consecutive, incorrect PIN entry attempts. Physical tampering is addressed with an epoxy compound that helps prevent subversive physical access to the device, and the drive is also listed as immune to Bad USB (firmware updates not allowed).
Compatibility Without Driver Dependencies
Formatted in ExFAT, the drive is designed to maximise compatibility with virtually any host and can be reformatted to optimise for either Mac or Windows operation. It works with MacOS, Windows, Linus, Chrome, Thin Clients, Embedded systems, VMWare, and Citrix, with no software drivers needed.
Connection Options And Included Cables
A USB 3.2, Gen 1 Type-microB port provides the physical connection to the host system. Included cables (USB-MicroB to USB-C and USB-MicroB to USB-A) support straightforward connection to a range of systems, including compatibility with USB 3.1, 3.0, Type-C, and Thunderbolt 3.
Locking Behaviour For Day-To-Day Control
SecureDrive+ supports inactivity auto lock with predefined times between 1 and 60 minutes, helping reduce exposure if a connected system is left unattended. Step Away Auto Lock adds an additional control by making the drive disappear from File explorer / Finder when the iOS / Android device is moved 3M+ away from the drive for longer than 5 seconds.
Remote Management Readiness (Subscription Service)
Remote Management (RM) is available as a separate subscription that can be added after purchase, providing software-free administration through a web portal. RM enables an admin to manage drive access remotely to view users, enable geo- and time-fencing, and perform remote password reset, supporting medium to large scale organisations.
