The Glyph SecureDrive+ Keypad 5TB HDD is designed for workflows where portable storage must remain protected without depending on encryption software installed on the host computer. Encryption and PIN authentication are handled by the drive itself, making it suitable for mixed-platform environments and controlled data-transfer workflows.
Real-Time XTS-AES 256-Bit Hardware Encryption
SecureDrive+ encrypts data in real time using XTS-AES 256-bit full-disk hardware encryption. Glyph specifies a FIPS 140-2 Level 3 validated security module for the Keypad range.
Integrated 10+1 Keypad Authentication
The on-drive keypad allows the drive to be unlocked without a software utility. Admin and User PIN modes provide separate access-management options, while the official user guide documents PIN creation, changing and recovery procedures.
Brute-Force And Physical-Tamper Protection
After 10 consecutive incorrect PIN attempts, the SecureDrive+ protection system erases the drive data. Internal components are protected with epoxy compound to resist physical access, and firmware updates are disabled as part of Glyph's BadUSB protection design.
Up To 140MB/s HDD Performance
The HDD configuration is rated for transfer speeds up to 140MB/s. Its USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface is compatible with USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and Thunderbolt 3 hosts, subject to the limits of the connected port.
Bus-Powered And Driver-Free
Power is supplied through the USB connection, so no external power adapter is required. The drive is supplied formatted as ExFAT and is designed to operate without software drivers across macOS, Windows, Linux, Chrome, thin-client, embedded, VMware and Citrix environments.
Read-Only And Inactivity Auto-Lock Options
Read-only operation can be enabled when files need to be protected from modification. The range also provides configurable inactivity auto-lock to secure the drive when it is left connected but unattended.
Portable Protection And Warranty
Glyph supplies USB-MicroB to USB-C and USB-MicroB to USB-A cables, a rugged removable sleeve and a carry case. Warranty coverage is three years for hardware plus one year of advance replacement.

Glyph Technology Delivery Information
Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard Glyph Technology Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).
Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between 9 am and 6 pm.
Orders placed after 2 pm on Fridays and weekends will be processed as normal the following Monday.
Orders placed on Bank Holidays will be processed the next working day.
