The HPE Ultrium LTO-10 Data Cartridge is a rewritable tenth-generation LTO cartridge designed for high-capacity enterprise backup, archive and long-term offline data retention.
HPE product number Q2080A provides 30TB of native capacity and up to 75TB compressed capacity using 2.5:1 data compression.
30TB Native Capacity
The cartridge stores 30TB natively and up to 75TB with 2.5:1 compression, allowing large backup and archive datasets to be consolidated onto fewer removable cartridges.
Up To 400MB/s Native Transfer Rate
HPE specifies native transfer rates of up to 300MB/s with compatible half-height drives and up to 400MB/s with compatible full-height LTO-10 drives. Assuming 2.5:1 compression, HPE lists transfer rates up to 700MB/s and 1,000MB/s respectively.
Strontium Ferrite Media
Q2080A uses Strontium Ferrite media with 15,104 data tracks. HPE specifies 1,035 metres of 12.65mm-wide tape with a thickness of 5.2µm.
LTO-10 Drive Compatibility
HPE lists LTO-10 media as read/write compatible with LTO-10 drives only. LTO-10 drives do not provide backward compatibility with LTO-9 or earlier media.
AES-256 Encryption And LTFS
HPE LTO-10 media supports native tape-device AES-256 encryption and Linear Tape File System workflows when used with compatible drive hardware and software.
Offline Data Protection
As removable media, LTO tape can form part of an offline or offsite retention strategy, providing physical separation from continuously connected storage.
Archive Life And Warranty
HPE specifies an archival life of up to 30 years when the cartridge is stored under recommended conditions and provides a limited lifetime warranty.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Delivery Information
Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard Hewlett Packard Enterprise Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).
Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between 9 am and 6 pm.
