The Fujifilm LTO-8 Tape Data Cartridge is a rewritable LTO Ultrium 8 cartridge designed for high-capacity enterprise backup, archive and offline data retention.
Material number 16551221 combines 12TB native capacity with up to 30TB compressed capacity and uses Fujifilm Barium Ferrite magnetic media with NANOCUBIC technology.
12TB Native Capacity
The cartridge stores 12TB natively and up to 30TB with 2.5:1 data compression, doubling the native capacity of LTO-7.
Up To 360MB/s Native Transfer Rate
Fujifilm specifies native transfer rates of up to 360MB/s and compressed transfer rates of up to 750MB/s, subject to the connected drive and data compressibility.
Barium Ferrite Media
Fujifilm Barium Ferrite magnetic particles and NANOCUBIC technology support the recording density and long-term stability required by LTO-8.

LTO-8 records 6,656 data tracks across 12.65mm-wide tape. The cartridge contains 960 metres of 5.6µm tape.
LTFS And Encryption Support
LTO-8 supports LTFS and hardware encryption when used with compatible drives and software.

Fujifim LTO Tape Delivery Information
Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard Fujifilm LTO Tape Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).
Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between 9 am and 6 pm.
Orders placed after 2 pm on Fridays and weekends will be processed as normal the following Monday.
Orders placed on Bank Holidays will be processed the next working day.
