The Sonnet Solo2.5G USB-C to 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter (SOLO-NBASE-T) is a compact multi-Gigabit networking adapter for computers and tablets without built-in 2.5GbE.
The RJ45 interface supports 2.5GBASE-T, 1000BASE-T and 100BASE-TX over Cat 5e or better cabling at distances up to 100 metres.
A captive 0.3-metre USB-C cable connects the adapter directly to compatible USB-C or Thunderbolt hosts. Sonnet lists support across current Mac, Windows, Linux, Chromebook and iPad platforms subject to operating-system requirements.
The adapter requires no external power supply and weighs 37g including its cable, making it practical for mobile and desktop use.
The Realtek RTL8156 controller supports jumbo frames up to 9000 bytes, with Sonnet noting a 1500-byte maximum frame size under macOS.

Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard Sonnet Technology Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).
Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between 9 am and 6 pm.
