Sonnet Fusion Dual 2.5-inch SSD RAID Card – Product Overview
The Sonnet Fusion Dual 2.5-inch SSD RAID, part number FUS-SSD-2RAID-E, combines dual 2.5-inch SATA storage, onboard hardware RAID and a high-speed USB-C port on one PCIe expansion card.
It is designed for systems with an available full-length PCIe slot and supports one or two SATA 6Gb/s SSDs, with the RAID engine operating independently of software RAID utilities.
Dual 2.5-Inch SATA Storage
Two internal SATA connectors accept 2.5-inch SATA 6Gb/s SSDs. Drives are mounted directly to the card, creating a compact internal storage solution without separate drive cabling.
Onboard Hardware RAID
The integrated RAID controller supports RAID 0 for striped performance, RAID 1 for mirrored redundancy, Span for combined capacity and JBOD for independent-drive operation.
PCIe 3.0 x2 Host Interface
The full-height, full-length card uses a PCI Express 3.0 x2 host interface. Sonnet specifies PCIe 3.0 as the preferred host connection.
USB-C 10Gbps Expansion
An external USB-C port supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 at up to 10Gbps and is backward compatible with earlier USB standards. Thunderbolt-only peripherals are not supported through this USB-C port.
Up To 15W Bus Power
The USB-C port can provide up to 15W for compatible bus-powered hard drives, SSDs and SSD RAID devices, reducing the need for a separate power supply for suitable peripherals.

Sonnet Technology Delivery Information
Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard Sonnet Technology Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).
Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between 9 am and 6 pm.
Orders placed after 2 pm on Fridays and weekends will be processed as normal the following Monday.
Orders placed on Bank Holidays will be processed the next working day.
