Glyph SecureDrive+ Encrypted Drive with Bluetooth – 1TB HDD – Product Overview
The Glyph SecureDrive+ Bluetooth 1TB HDD combines portable storage with real-time XTS-AES 256-bit full-disk hardware encryption and wireless authentication through the SecureData Lock mobile app. Encryption is handled by the drive itself, while the paired iOS or Android device is used to unlock access.
XTS-AES 256-Bit Hardware Encryption
All data stored on the drive is encrypted in real time using XTS-AES 256-bit full-disk hardware encryption. Glyph specifies a FIPS 140-2 Level 3 validated security module for the SecureDrive+ range.
Bluetooth Unlocking And Biometric Authentication
The SecureData Lock app supports wireless unlocking from iOS and Android devices, including Face ID, Touch ID and supported Android biometric authentication.
Brute-Force, Tamper And BadUSB Protection
After 10 consecutive incorrect unlock attempts, the drive's brute-force defence erases the stored data. Internal components are protected with epoxy compound to resist physical access, while BadUSB protection is implemented by disabling firmware updates.
Up To 140MB/s HDD Performance
Glyph specifies transfer speeds up to 140MB/s for the HDD version. The USB 3.2 Gen 1 connection is compatible with USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and Thunderbolt 3 hosts, subject to the connected port and cable.
Bus-Powered And Driver-Free
The drive is bus-powered and supplied formatted as ExFAT. It is designed to work without a storage driver across macOS, Windows, Linux, Chrome, thin-client, embedded, VMware and Citrix environments.
Read-Only And Automatic Locking
Read-only operation is available when files need to be protected from modification. Inactivity auto-lock can be configured from 1 to 60 minutes, while Step Away Auto Lock can lock access when the paired mobile device moves more than approximately 3m away for longer than five seconds.
Optional Remote Management
Glyph's separate Remote Management subscription can add centrally administered access controls such as user management, geo- and time-fencing and remote password reset.
Portable Kit And Warranty
Glyph supplies USB-MicroB to USB-C and USB-MicroB to USB-A cables, a rugged carry case and a removable protective sleeve. Warranty coverage is three years for hardware plus one year of advance replacement.

Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard Glyph Technology Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).
