Areca ARC-8050T3U-4A – 48TB Product Overview
The Areca ARC-8050T3U-4A provides high-performance hardware RAID storage in a portable 4-bay desktop tower, pre-configured with four 12TB enterprise 7200rpm drives for 48TB capacity.
It delivers 40Gbps Thunderbolt 3 connectivity for simultaneous 4K video workflows and supports daisy-chaining up to five additional units.
Host Connectivity
Dual Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports enable connection to Thunderbolt 3 hosts and daisy-chaining of peripherals while supplying power for notebook charging.
A full-size DisplayPort 1.4 supports 8K 30Hz video output, and a USB-C port activates USB 3.2 Gen 2 mode for non-Thunderbolt systems.
RAID Controller and Performance
The single-core 800MHz SAS ROC processor with 1GB DDR3-800 on-board cache ensures smooth multitasking and true hardware RAID without host CPU overhead.
Peak transfer rates reach 6.4GB/s via the DDR3-800 memory, optimized for high-overload 4K environments.

Areca Technology Delivery Information
In general, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on Areca equipment orders placed before 2pm (subject to stock availability).
We kindly advise you let us preconfigure each Areca RAID (as RAID5, RAID6 etc), so they arrive properly setup, ready to “plug’n’play”.
This is a free service, and takes 1-2 days prior to shipping.
Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between the hours of 9am and 6pm.
Orders placed after 2pm on Fridays and on weekends will be processed as normal the following Monday.
Orders placed on Bank Holidays will be processed the next working day.
If urgent, please call one of our helpful account managers so they may double check everything for you, enabling you to place your order with confidence.
