The Sonnet Allegro USB-C 4-Port PCIe Card adds four external USB-C 10Gbps ports to a compatible Mac Pro, Windows or Linux computer, or to a supported Thunderbolt-to-PCIe expansion system.

Two independent USB 3.2 Gen 2 controllers provide 20Gbps combined controller throughput, while each USB-C port can supply up to 7.5W to compatible bus-powered devices without requiring an auxiliary power connection.

The Sonnet Allegro USB-C 4-Port PCIe Card is a professional USB expansion card designed to add four high-speed USB-C ports to computers and Thunderbolt PCIe expansion systems.

Four USB-C 10Gbps Ports

All four ports support USB 3.2 Gen 2 signalling up to 10Gbps for fast external storage, hubs and other USB-IF compliant peripherals.

Dual-Controller Architecture

Two onboard USB 3.2 Gen 2 controllers provide 20Gbps combined controller throughput. Sonnet specifies up to 800MB/s with a suitable single USB 3.2 Gen 2 SSD RAID device, up to 660MB/s each with two suitable drives transferring simultaneously, and around 300MB/s per drive with four suitable drives active simultaneously.

Independent Power Regulation

Each port has independent power regulation and resettable overcurrent protection to reduce the risk of one connected device causing another to disconnect.

Up To 7.5W Per Port

Each USB-C port can provide up to 7.5W for compatible bus-powered devices. The card draws the power it needs from the PCIe slot, so no separate auxiliary power lead is required.

PCIe 2.0 x4 Installation

The full-height card uses a PCI Express 2.0 x4 interface and installs in a PCIe x4 mechanical slot or larger. It is also compatible with supported Thunderbolt expansion systems that provide a suitable PCIe slot.

Sonnet Technology Delivery Information

Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard Sonnet Technology Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).

Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between 9 am and 6 pm.

Orders placed after 2 pm on Fridays and weekends will be processed as normal the following Monday.
