The Wise i4 Mobile SSD 1TB USB4 MagSafe-Compatible Portable SSD is a compact 1TB portable SSD developed for high-data-rate mobile filmmaking and fast post-production transfers. Its USB4 interface is designed to deliver desktop-class throughput in a pocket-size, USB-powered form factor.
Wise specifies up to 4,000 MB/s read, 3,500 MB/s write and a distinct 700 MB/s minimum sustained write. These are manufacturer measurements; actual performance depends on the host USB mode, cable, source files, temperature and receiving device.
The built-in magnetic attachment is compatible with Apple's MagSafe mounting ecosystem but does not charge the phone. On compatible iPhone models, external storage can enable higher-quality ProRes and slow-motion workflows; recording formats and frame rates depend on the exact iPhone generation and Apple settings.
