The SymplySPARK 8-Bay – 144TB is a direct-attached Thunderbolt 3 RAID designed for high-capacity media workflows.
It ships as an 8-bay enclosure pre-populated to 144TB and supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10 and JBOD.
Field-serviceable components, hot-swap drive caddies and dual Thunderbolt 3 ports make it suitable for studio and on-set use.
The SymplySPARK 8-Bay – 144TB is a direct-attached Thunderbolt 3 RAID enclosure engineered for content-creation workflows that need large capacity, predictable performance and fast, serviceable hardware.
Built from high-quality metal alloys and populated with enterprise-class drives, this 8-bay system provides desktop-quiet operation, hot-swap drive trays and field-serviceable power and cooling to keep projects moving in studio or on set.
SPARK is configured for post-production, VFX, on-set DIT and in-house creative teams that require sustained throughput and low latency while working with large media files.
The 8-bay SPARK offers real-world throughput in the range of 900-1300MB/s and presents high-capacity storage without forcing a move to more expensive SSD-only solutions.
Hot-swap drive caddies, user-serviceable HDD, PSU and fan design, and the optional SymplySAM self-assisted maintenance kit enable fast on-site repairs and reduce downtime.
Two Thunderbolt 3 ports provide the highest throughput available on the platform, support daisy-chaining and deliver device charging. A premium 2m (6.5ft) Active Thunderbolt 3 cable is included in the box.
Drive trays use a locking pin design and the unit includes a Kensington lock point; an optional impact-resistant wheeled transport case is available for safe transit.
An optional 4RU SPARK Rack Kit for the 8-bay turns the desktop enclosure into a rack-mounted solution quickly, with extendable rails to accommodate different rack depths.

Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard Symply Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).
Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between 9 am and 6 pm.
Orders placed after 2 pm on Fridays and weekends will be processed as normal the following Monday.
Orders placed on Bank Holidays will be processed the next working day.
