The SymplyPRO XTL Thunderbolt Module adds direct Thunderbolt 3 connectivity to compatible SymplyPRO XTL 24, 40 and 80 tape libraries.
The SAS-to-Thunderbolt converter installs into one half-height drive bay and supports up to eight LTO tape drives, simplifying direct attachment of automated tape libraries to Thunderbolt-equipped workstations.

The SymplyPRO XTL Thunderbolt Module is an integrated SAS-to-Thunderbolt converter designed for SymplyPRO XTL 24, 40 and 80 libraries. It brings the same Thunderbolt architecture used across SymplyPRO tape systems directly into the library chassis.
Dual Thunderbolt 3 connectivity provides a direct host connection and daisy-chain capability for professional workstation workflows.
The module can support up to eight LTO tape drives, making it suitable for larger automated library configurations while avoiding the need for an external SAS HBA in the Thunderbolt workstation.
The module occupies one half-height drive bay in the XTL 24, XTL 40 or XTL 80. In an XTL 24, the occupied upper bay limits the library to one LTO drive while the module is installed.
The XTL Thunderbolt Module remains documented in Symply's current 2026 XTL and Thunderbolt support material and uses Symply's current H1288 SAS-to-Thunderbolt driver architecture.

Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard Symply Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).
Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between 9 am and 6 pm.
Orders placed after 2 pm on Fridays and weekends will be processed as normal the following Monday.
Orders placed on Bank Holidays will be processed the next working day.
