Two independent 10GbE SFP+ data ports connect hosts to a single 12Gb mini-SAS HD expansion port supporting up to four external SAS LTO drives, whether standalone, library-mounted, or a combination of both.

The SymplyPRO Ethernet Bridge 1RU provides a dedicated high-performance bridge between 10Gb Ethernet hosts and SAS-attached LTO tape resources. It allows tape drives to be positioned away from individual workstations or servers and shared using iSCSI.
Two independent 10GbE SFP+ ports provide host connectivity and support multiple iSCSI initiator sessions. A dedicated 1GbE RJ45 service/management port is provided for administration.
A 12Gb mini-SAS HD SFF-8644 expansion port supports up to four compatible SAS LTO tape drives. Those drives may be standalone systems, mechanisms within a tape library, or a mixture of both.
The appliance supports LTFS, SAS Transport Layer Retries, ACL controls, SSH CLI management and firmware updates over SFTP. Symply SpeedWrite technology is designed to optimise sequential tape performance over Ethernet.
The 1RU enclosure includes an internal 350W auto-ranging power supply and rack kit and is covered by a 3-year manufacturer warranty.
