The OWC Thunderbolt 5 Hub is a compact expansion hub for users who need more high-bandwidth Thunderbolt ports without the size or additional interfaces of a full dock.
One host connection becomes three downstream Thunderbolt 5 ports plus a USB-A port, allowing storage, displays and other peripherals to be connected simultaneously while the host receives up to 140W of charging power.
The hub creates three downstream Thunderbolt 5 connections for high-speed storage, displays and accessories. Multiple independent device chains can be created so removing a device from one chain does not interrupt the others.
On compatible Thunderbolt 5 hosts, the hub supports up to 80Gb/s of bi-directional data bandwidth and up to 120Gb/s for display-intensive workflows.
The 180W external power supply enables host power delivery of up to 140W, with actual negotiated power dependent on the host and power being used by connected downstream devices.
Thunderbolt 5 can support multiple high-resolution displays, including up to three 8K displays on compatible host platforms. Actual display count and resolution depend on the connected computer and operating system.
The hub can be used with Thunderbolt 5, Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3 on supported Macs, USB4 and compatible USB-C devices, operating at the bandwidth available from the host connection.
A fanless aluminium enclosure provides silent passive cooling for edit suites, studios and desk-based professional workflows.

Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard OWC Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).
Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between 9 am and 6 pm.
Orders placed after 2 pm on Fridays and weekends will be processed as normal the following Monday.
Orders placed on Bank Holidays will be processed the next working day.
