The OWC Thunderbolt 5 Dock is designed to turn one host connection into a complete professional workstation. It combines high-bandwidth Thunderbolt expansion, fast wired networking, integrated media readers, USB-A connectivity and audio in a compact fanless desktop enclosure.
It is compatible with Thunderbolt 5, Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3 on supported Macs, USB4 and USB-C hosts, automatically operating at the maximum speed supported by the connected system.
Thunderbolt 5 Performance
Three downstream Thunderbolt 5 ports provide high-speed connections for storage, displays and other peripherals, with up to 80Gb/s bi-directional data bandwidth and up to 120Gb/s of display bandwidth on supported Thunderbolt 5 systems.
140W Host Charging
The dedicated host connection can provide up to 140W of power delivery, allowing compatible notebooks and tablets to remain charged while drives, displays and peripherals are connected through the dock.
Integrated Media Ingest
Front-mounted SD and microSD card slots support UHS-II media, giving photographers, DITs and content creators direct high-speed card ingest without a separate reader.
2.5GbE Networking
The built-in 2.5GbE RJ45 port provides a fast wired connection for NAS access, large file transfers, cloud workflows and stable office networking.
Display And Peripheral Expansion
Depending on host capability, the dock supports high-resolution multi-display workflows while also providing three USB-A ports and a 3.5mm combo audio connection for everyday desktop peripherals.
Silent Desktop Design
The precision aluminium enclosure uses passive cooling, avoiding fan noise in edit suites, recording rooms and other noise-sensitive workspaces.
Included Connectivity
The dock includes a 1.0 metre Thunderbolt 5 cable, external power supply and power cable. OWC ClingOn cable stabilisers are supported but sold separately.

OWC Delivery Information
Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard OWC Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).
Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between 9 am and 6 pm.
Orders placed after 2 pm on Fridays and weekends will be processed as normal the following Monday.
Orders placed on Bank Holidays will be processed the next working day.
