OWC StudioStack is a Thunderbolt 5 desktop storage enclosure and connectivity hub designed for Mac Studio, Mac mini and compatible Thunderbolt/USB4 systems. This DIY model is supplied without drives so you can install your own NVMe M.2 SSD and SATA drive.
Thunderbolt 5 Performance
StudioStack supports Thunderbolt 5 and is rated by OWC for up to 6302MB/s real-world performance with a suitable NVMe SSD. It also works with Thunderbolt 4, USB4 and Thunderbolt 3 Macs.
Two-Tier Storage Design
The enclosure provides one M.2 2280 NVMe bay for high-speed active storage and one SATA bay for 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch drives. SATA storage connects internally via USB protocol.
Built-In Expansion Hub
Three downstream Thunderbolt 5 ports and three USB-A 10Gb/s ports add connectivity for displays, storage and peripherals while a separate Thunderbolt 5 host port connects the StudioStack to the computer.
Desktop Integration
The low-profile aluminium enclosure is designed to stack with Mac Studio and Mac mini systems. An adaptive cooling fan operates only when required, and a Kensington security slot is provided.
Included Connectivity
OWC includes a certified 0.3m Thunderbolt 5 cable and external power supply. This no-drive DIY enclosure carries a 1-year OWC limited warranty.

OWC Delivery Information
Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard OWC Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).
Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between 9 am and 6 pm.
Orders placed after 2 pm on Fridays and weekends will be processed as normal the following Monday.
Orders placed on Bank Holidays will be processed the next working day.
