The OWC Drive Dock U.2 provides direct access to bare SATA and U.2 NVMe drives without installing them in an enclosure, making it useful for ingest, cloning, backup, drive testing and archive workflows.
Each bay accepts compatible 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SATA HDDs and SSDs as well as supported U.2 NVMe drives and adapters. Independent power buttons allow drives to be mounted or powered down separately.
The USB 3.2 Gen 2 host connection provides up to 10Gb/s bandwidth. OWC quotes real-world U.2/NVMe performance around 991MB/s and dual-SATA SSD aggregate performance up to approximately 1010MB/s, depending on the host and media.
Bare drives can be inserted and removed without tools, making the dock suitable for rotating media, offline archives and production environments where drives move between systems.
A built-in power supply avoids an external power brick and provides stable power for both bays. USB-C and USB-C-to-USB-A host cables are included.

Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard OWC Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).
Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between 9 am and 6 pm.
Orders placed after 2 pm on Fridays and weekends will be processed as normal the following Monday.
Orders placed on Bank Holidays will be processed the next working day.
