The LaCie 2big Dock - 32TB (STLG32000400) combines high-capacity professional storage, hardware RAID and desktop docking in one two-bay enclosure. This 32TB configuration is fitted with two 16TB Seagate IronWolf Pro enterprise-class hard drives operating at 7,200 RPM.
Designed for demanding creative workflows, the 2big Dock brings storage, RAID management, memory-card ingestion, display output, peripheral connectivity and laptop power delivery together through a Thunderbolt-based desktop workflow.
LaCie specifies 2big Dock family transfer speeds up to 550 MB/s. Actual performance varies with RAID mode, installed drive capacity, host interface and operating environment. The enclosure supports RAID 0, RAID 1 and JBOD, with RAID 0 as the factory-default mode. RAID 0 prioritises performance and full raw capacity, RAID 1 mirrors data between the two drives for redundancy, and JBOD presents the installed drives independently.
Two 16TB Seagate IronWolf Pro enterprise-class hard drives provide 32TB of raw capacity. The 3.5-inch 7,200 RPM drives are mounted in hot-swappable trays, allowing a failed drive to be replaced without shutting down the enclosure when the active RAID configuration and workflow permit.
Dedicated front-panel slots support CFexpress Type B, CFast 2.0 and SD UHS-II media, allowing photographers and video teams to ingest common professional camera media without separate desktop card readers.
Two Thunderbolt 3 ports provide up to 40 Gb/s interface bandwidth for host connection and downstream expansion. LaCie supports daisy chaining of up to five Thunderbolt devices, helping consolidate storage and peripherals around a single host connection.
DisplayPort 1.4 provides dedicated monitor connectivity, while the front USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A hub port supports peripherals at up to 10 Gb/s and can provide up to 7.5W to a connected device.
When the peripheral Thunderbolt port is unused, the host Thunderbolt connection can receive up to 45W. When a Thunderbolt peripheral is connected, the power budget is shared as up to 30W for the host and up to 15W for the downstream device.
LaCie Toolkit supports setup and backup workflows, while LaCie RAID Manager provides RAID configuration and system-health monitoring. The current specification supports compatible USB-C hosts across USB 40 Gb/s, USB 20 Gb/s, USB 10 Gb/s and USB 5 Gb/s connections as well as Thunderbolt 5, Thunderbolt 4 and Thunderbolt 3 hosts, subject to host capabilities.
The 2big Dock is backed by a five-year limited warranty and Rescue Data Recovery Services, subject to Seagate terms and regional availability. The enclosure carries LaCie's Neil Poulton industrial design.

Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard LaCie Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).
Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between 9 am and 6 pm.
