Dual-Port 100GbE PCIe 4.0 x16 SmartNIC With Advanced Heat Baffling And Long-Range QSFP28 Optics

The ATTO FastFrame AIR N412 – Long Range uses the same dual-port 100GbE N412-AIR SmartNIC platform as the standard optics version, but is supplied with long-range QSFP28 optics for extended-distance fibre connections.

Designed for high-performance workstations, it connects through PCIe 4.0 x16, supports 50/100GbE networking and delivers up to 100Gb/s throughput per port. ATTO’s Advanced Heat Baffling Technology provides dedicated thermal management where chassis airflow may be limited.

ATTO FastFrame AIR N412 – Long Range – Product Overview

The FastFrame AIR N412 – Long Range combines the proven N412-AIR 100GbE SmartNIC platform with long-range QSFP28 optics for installations requiring extended fibre reach. The underlying adapter hardware and performance specifications are the same as the standard N412-AIR configuration.

Long-Range Optical Configuration

This LRA version is supplied with long-range QSFP28 optics in place of the standard transceivers, while retaining the same dual-port N412-AIR card platform.

Dual-Port 100GbE Connectivity

The adapter supports 50GbE and 100GbE operation over QSFP28, with throughput of up to 100Gb/s per port.

PCIe 4.0 x16 Host Interface

A PCIe 4.0 x16 mechanical and electrical interface provides the host connection required for high-bandwidth workstation networking.

Advanced Networking Offloads

ATTO lists RDMA over Converged Ethernet together with TCP, UDP and IP stateless offloads and built-in hardware offloads. NVMe over Fabrics target offload is supported on the 100Gb model.

Workstation-Friendly Thermal Design

Advanced Heat Baffling Technology is designed to maintain airflow around the adapter in constrained workstation environments. The card uses a low-profile, half-height, three-quarter-length form factor, with ATTO listing macOS, Windows and Linux support.

ATTO Technology Delivery Information

Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard ATTO Technology Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).

Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between 9 am and 6 pm.

Orders placed after 2 pm on Fridays and weekends will be processed as normal the following Monday.

Orders placed on Bank Holidays will be processed the next working day.
