The Areca ARC-8050T5U-12R is a 2U, 12-bay Thunderbolt 5 rackmount hardware RAID array fitted with 12 x 12.0 TB enterprise drives (7200rpm).
It uses a dual-core ARM A15 1.6GHz RAID-on-Chip and 8GB DDR4-2666 ECC SDRAM to deliver hardware RAID performance for demanding media workflows.

The Areca ARC-8050T5U-12R is a 2U, 12-bay Thunderbolt 5 rackmount hardware RAID array built for professional media and high-throughput storage workflows. This specific configuration ships populated with 12 x 12.0 TB enterprise drives (7200rpm) and is designed for real-time multi-stream editing and dual 6K input/output workflows.
The unit combines a dedicated RAID-on-Chip, ECC on-board cache and dual Thunderbolt 5 ports to deliver a high-performance, secure storage platform for both Mac and PC hosts.
Performance
Dual-core ARM A15 1.6GHz ROC and 8GB DDR4-2666 ECC SDRAM provide hardware RAID processing and on-board cache, reducing host CPU load and optimising sustained throughput for demanding media tasks.
Connectivity
Two Thunderbolt 5 ports and one DisplayPort enable high-bandwidth connections, display output and daisy-chaining of additional peripherals, with a 1m 120Gb/s active Thunderbolt™ 5 (USB-C) cable included.

Areca Technology Delivery Information
In general, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on Areca equipment orders placed before 2pm (subject to stock availability).
We kindly advise you let us preconfigure each Areca RAID (as RAID5, RAID6 etc), so they arrive properly setup, ready to “plug’n’play”.
This is a free service, and takes 1-2 days prior to shipping.
Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between the hours of 9am and 6pm.
Orders placed after 2pm on Fridays and on weekends will be processed as normal the following Monday.
Orders placed on Bank Holidays will be processed the next working day.
