Its USB-C 4.0 Gen 3×2 host interface supports transfer bandwidth up to 40Gb/s, while Angelbird Solid Cool active cooling helps prevent overheating and thermal throttling during extended transfers and editing sessions. XQD media is not supported.

The Angelbird Performance Card Reader CFexpress B is designed for demanding post-production workflows where sustained CFexpress Type B performance matters as much as peak transfer speed.
The reader uses USB-C 4.0 Gen 3x2 connectivity with transfer bandwidth up to 40Gb/s. It is USB backward compatible and technically compatible with Thunderbolt 3, 4 and 5 hosts, operating through USB4 where supported.
Angelbird's Solid Cool technology actively cools the inserted CFexpress card to help prevent overheating and thermal throttling during long offloads or sustained post-production use.
The high-bandwidth interface and thermal management are designed to support real-time access to large RAW video and high-resolution photography files directly from suitable CFexpress Type B media, subject to host and card performance.
The reader is designed for CFexpress Type B media. XQD cards are not supported.
The recessed Solid Connect USB-C port protects the physical connection, helps keep transfers stable and reduces cable wear during repeated professional use.
The reader supports firmware updates for compatible Angelbird CFexpress Type B cards using Angelbird's Firmware Update Tool.
The reader measures approximately 97.5 x 21.5 x 65mm, weighs around 175g and is powered directly from the USB host. A 32cm USB-C 4.0 Solid Flex cable is included.

Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard Angelbird Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).
Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between 9 am and 6 pm.
