The Angelbird AV PRO SE CFexpress B MK2 4TB is a high-capacity CFexpress 4.0 Type B memory card for compatible professional cinema, video and photographic equipment. Using a PCIe 4.0 x2 interface, the 4TB model combines very high peak transfer speeds with particularly strong sustained write performance for continuous high-bitrate recording.
With 4TB of capacity, this version is aimed at extended recording sessions and high-resolution workflows where both sustained performance and large media capacity are important.
The 4TB model is specified for up to 3700MB/s maximum read, 3500MB/s maximum write, 3500MB/s sustained read and 3150MB/s sustained write. Angelbird's Stable Stream technology is designed to maintain consistent read and write performance across the card capacity rather than delivering high speeds only at the beginning of a transfer.
The card uses the CFexpress 4.0 Type B form factor with a PCIe 4.0 x2 interface. This newer-generation interface provides significantly more bandwidth than earlier CFexpress 2.0 Type B media while retaining the Type B physical format for compatible equipment.
Host Power Loss Protection is designed to protect buffered data and safely shut down the card if host power is unexpectedly lost. Advanced Thermal Management helps maintain thermal stability during sustained workloads, while built-in EDC and ECC functions provide error detection and correction.
Angelbird's Stable Stream technology is designed to deliver uninterrupted read and write performance with high IOPS and low latency across the full card capacity, helping reduce performance drops during extended or high-data-rate recording.
Match the exact card and recording mode to the camera manufacturer's approved-media list. A compatible CFexpress Type B slot does not necessarily guarantee support for every codec, frame rate or recording mode. For offload workflows, use a compatible high-performance CFexpress Type B reader and destination storage capable of sustaining the required transfer speed.
Angelbird specifies resistance to moisture, dust, shock, x-ray and magnetic exposure. The card is rated for operation from -12°C to 72°C and incorporates a temperature sensor, power management, ECC, EMS protection, TRIM and SMART support where supported by the host operating system.
The card carries a three-year limited Angelbird warranty when activated within 30 days of purchase. Angelbird also includes a free data recovery service with the activated warranty.
