The SymplyPRO Rackmount 2U – LTO-10 is a Gen2 professional rackmount tape system supplied with one full-height LTO-10 drive and designed for expansion to a second compatible full-height mechanism. Choose 12Gb SAS, Thunderbolt 3 / SAS or dual 10GbE iSCSI connectivity.
LTO-10 supports 30TB native / 75TB compressed standard media and the newer 40TB native / 100TB compressed Enterprise (Aramid) media. The full-height drive delivers up to 400MB/s native throughput, with LTFS, WORM and AES-256 hardware encryption for high-capacity archive and offline data protection.
The SymplyPRO Rackmount 2U - LTO-10 brings current-generation LTO-10 capacity to Symply's professional 2RU rackmount platform. One full-height LTO-10 mechanism is installed as standard and the Gen2 chassis supports expansion to a second compatible full-height drive, allowing archive throughput to grow without replacing the enclosure.
SAS, Thunderbolt and Ethernet versions cover direct-attached workstations and servers as well as shared network tape workflows.
The SAS configuration provides 12Gb SAS through SFF-8644. The Thunderbolt configuration provides dual Thunderbolt 3 ports together with SFF-8644 SAS connectivity. The Ethernet configuration presents tape resources over dual 10GbE SFP+ iSCSI and provides SFF-8644 SAS expansion connectivity.
Standard LTO-10 media provides 30TB native / 75TB compressed capacity. LTO-10 Enterprise (Aramid) media increases this to 40TB native / 100TB compressed without changing the drive, while native transfer performance remains up to 400MB/s. LTO-10 is not backwards compatible with LTO-9 cartridges.
The 2U Gen2 enclosure supports one or two full-height mechanisms, allowing a second compatible LTO-10 drive to be added as requirements grow.
LTFS provides file-based access to tape media, while WORM compatibility and AES-256 hardware encryption support compliance, immutable retention and offline cyber-resilient data protection.
The 2RU metal enclosure measures approximately 43.5 × 48.2 × 8.8cm and uses an internal auto-ranging power supply with professional cooling. A rack kit, data cartridge, cleaning cartridge, power cable and configuration-specific host cabling are supplied.
SymplyPRO rackmount systems support professional macOS, Windows and Linux archive environments and integrate with LTFS and established backup / archive applications. The system is covered by a 3-year manufacturer warranty.

Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard Symply Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).
Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between 9 am and 6 pm.
Orders placed after 2 pm on Fridays and weekends will be processed as normal the following Monday.
Orders placed on Bank Holidays will be processed the next working day.
