The SymplyPRO XTL 24 LTO-9 brings 24-slot automation and current LTO-9 capacity into a compact 2U chassis. Current configurations use one half-height LTO-9 drive with native 12Gb SAS, 8Gb Fibre Channel or dual 10GbE iSCSI connectivity.
With 24 LTO-9 cartridges the library provides up to 432TB native / 1.08PB compressed media capacity, backed by removable magazines, barcode automation, browser management, partition support, AES-256 hardware encryption and WORM capability.
The SymplyPRO XTL 24 LTO-9 is designed for backup and archive environments that need more media depth than an 8-slot autoloader but still want a compact, non-modular 2U platform. Twenty-four active cartridge slots provide a substantial increase in retention depth while keeping rack requirements modest.
The library chassis supports one or two half-height drives with native SAS or Fibre Channel connectivity. The current Rent a Raid LTO-9 configurations use one half-height drive and offer native 12Gb SAS, native 8Gb Fibre Channel or an integrated XTL Ethernet Module with dual 10GbE iSCSI. The Ethernet bridge occupies the upper drive bay, so that configuration is limited to one tape drive.
Each LTO-9 cartridge stores 18TB native / 45TB compressed and the half-height drive delivers up to 300MB/s native throughput. A fully populated XTL 24 therefore provides up to 432TB native / 1.08PB compressed media capacity. With two native SAS/FC drives installed, the chassis can also be divided into two logical libraries.
Two removable 12-cartridge magazines, an import/export mail slot, barcode reader and secure browser interface simplify unattended operation and media rotation. Remote diagnostics, event logs, email/SNMP alerts, health/inventory reporting and firmware management reduce administrative overhead, while AES-256 encryption, WORM and LTFS support address long-term retention and interchange requirements. Choose XTL 24 LTO-9 when you want high LTO-9 capacity in 2U; move to XTL 40 or XTL 80 when future slot expansion and much higher drive density are required.

Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard Symply Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).
Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between 9 am and 6 pm.
