The Sonnet Allegro Pro Type-A USB 3.2 PCIe Card adds four external USB-A 10Gbps ports to a compatible Mac Pro, Windows PC or supported Thunderbolt-to-PCIe expansion system.
Two independent USB 3.2 Gen 2 controllers provide 20Gbps combined controller throughput and improve simultaneous drive-to-drive performance. Each port can supply up to 7.5W for compatible bus-powered devices without requiring an auxiliary power connection.

The Sonnet Allegro Pro Type-A USB 3.2 PCIe Card provides four high-speed USB-A ports from a single PCIe card, making it suitable for connecting fast external SSDs, storage systems, hubs and other USB peripherals to compatible computers and PCIe expansion chassis.
Its dual-controller architecture is designed to maintain useful simultaneous throughput when multiple high-performance devices are active, while independent port power regulation helps protect connected devices from power disturbances caused by other ports.
Four USB-A 10Gbps Ports
All four external ports support USB 3.2 Gen 2 operation at up to 10Gbps per connection and retain compatibility with USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 peripherals.
Dual USB 3.2 Gen 2 Controllers
Two ASMedia USB controllers provide 20Gbps combined chipset throughput. Sonnet specifies up to 800MB/s with a single suitable USB 3.2 Gen 2 SSD RAID device, while the dual-controller design improves simultaneous transfers between multiple connected drives.
Independent Power Regulation
Each USB port has independent power regulation and protection to reduce the risk of power disturbances on one port causing devices on another port to disconnect. Resettable protection is provided for each port.
Up To 7.5W Per Port
The card supports compatible bus-powered hard drives, SSDs and SSD RAID devices with up to 7.5W available per USB port. USB Battery Charging 1.2 is supported at up to 1.5A per port.
No Auxiliary Power Connection
Power is drawn from the PCIe slot, so no separate SATA, Molex or other auxiliary power connector is required.
PCIe And Expansion Chassis Installation
The full-height card uses a PCI Express 2.0 x4 interface and installs into a PCIe x4 mechanical slot or larger. It can also be installed in compatible Thunderbolt-to-PCIe expansion systems.
Hot-Plug And UASP Support
USB devices may be hot-plugged and hot-swapped, with automatic device configuration. UASP is supported on compatible operating systems for efficient storage-device operation.

Sonnet Technology Delivery Information
Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard Sonnet Technology Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).
Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between 9 am and 6 pm.
