The Sonnet RackMac mini is a rugged steel 1U rackmount enclosure for securely installing one or two compatible Mac mini computers side by side in a standard 19-inch rack.
Designed for Mac mini models from Mid 2010 through M2, it provides front-panel power controls and a USB 3.0 port for each installed computer, open rear port access, cable-management points and controlled front-to-back airflow.
Its shallow mounting depth and internal padding make it suitable for server rooms, production racks and portable rack cases.

The Sonnet RackMac mini (RACK-MIN-2XA) converts one or two compatible Mac mini computers into a compact 1U rackmount installation while preserving practical access, cooling and transport security.
One Or Two Mac minis In 1U
The fully assembled rugged steel enclosure mounts one or two Mac mini computers side by side in a standard 19-inch equipment rack. Sonnet specifies compatibility from Mid 2010 (4,1) through current M2 models.
Front-Panel Control And USB
Mechanical front-panel buttons operate the Mac minis' power switches, while one USB 3.0 Type-A extension port per computer provides convenient access for keyboards, mice, USB drives and other peripherals.
Controlled Front-To-Back Airflow
The enclosure uses dedicated front openings and internal airflow management to direct cool air through each computer and exhaust warm air through the open rear. The RACK-MIN-2XA design was updated with larger openings to support the cooling requirements of 2018 and 2020 six-core Mac mini models.
Open Rear Access And Cable Management
The rear remains open for normal access to computer ports and connected cables. Cable-tie holes help secure power and signal cables and reduce accidental disconnection.
Portable-Rack Ready
Top-cover padding and firm internal cushions hold the computers securely during transport, while the shallow enclosure depth suits many portable and moulded rack cases.
Compatibility Notes
The optical/DVD slot on the Mid 2010 Mac mini is not supported. As with other metal rack enclosures, Bluetooth performance may vary with rack type and installation position.

Sonnet Technology Delivery Information
Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard Sonnet Technology Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).
Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between 9 am and 6 pm.
Orders placed after 2 pm on Fridays and weekends will be processed as normal the following Monday.
Orders placed on Bank Holidays will be processed the next working day.
