The Sonnet Twin25G PCIe Card, part number G25E-2X-E3, is a low-profile dual-port 25 Gigabit Ethernet adapter designed for high-bandwidth professional networking.
It ships with two short-range SFP28 optical transceivers installed and supports both 25Gbps and 10Gbps network operation.
Dual 25 Gigabit Ethernet Ports
Two SFP28 sockets provide 25Gb/s connectivity per port. The card also supports 10Gb/s network operation, allowing integration with compatible 10GbE and 25GbE infrastructure.
Optical Transceivers Included
Sonnet includes two short-range SFP28 optical transceivers on the card. OM3 or OM4 LC/LC multimode fibre cabling is used for 25GbE operation; compatible OM2 cabling supports 10Gbps operation.
Link Aggregation And Failover
Supported operating systems can use the two ports for teaming or link aggregation. Sonnet specifies aggregate transfer capability up to 50Gb/s in supported teamed configurations, along with balanced traffic and automatic failover.

The Mellanox ConnectX controller supports flow control, receive-side scaling, multicast filtering and hardware checksum and segmentation offloads for efficient high-throughput networking.
PCIe 3.0 x8 Interface
Twin25G is a low-profile PCIe 3.0 x8 card. An x4 slot can support one port at full bandwidth, while an x8 slot provides full bandwidth for both ports.
Jumbo Frames
The card supports jumbo frames with a maximum packet size of 9000 bytes, helping reduce protocol overhead on suitably configured high-performance networks.

Sonnet Technology Delivery Information
Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard Sonnet Technology Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).
Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between 9 am and 6 pm.
Orders placed after 2 pm on Fridays and weekends will be processed as normal the following Monday.
Orders placed on Bank Holidays will be processed the next working day.
