The Angelbird SSD2GO PKT MK3 4TB is a compact, high-performance portable SSD designed for professional video, photo, audio, backup and mobile production workflows.

It combines 4TB of storage with a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 20Gb/s interface, sustained transfer performance, rugged aluminium construction and an integrated write-protect function for reliable use both on set and in the studio.

4TB Portable Capacity

The 4TB SSD2GO PKT MK3 provides high-capacity solid-state storage in a compact enclosure suitable for large video, photo and audio projects, mobile backup and direct recording workflows.

Up To 1800MB/s Performance

The SSD2GO PKT MK3 delivers maximum read and write speeds of up to 1800MB/s. Sustained performance is rated at up to 1700MB/s read and 1600MB/s write, supporting demanding transfers and continuous recording workflows.

USB-C 20Gb/s Connectivity

The drive uses USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 with bandwidth of up to 20Gb/s and is backwards compatible with USB hosts. It is also technically compatible with Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 4 and Thunderbolt 5 hosts, operating through the USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 interface at up to 20Gb/s.

Integrated Write Protection

An integrated Write-Protect-Switch allows the SSD to be placed into read-only mode to help prevent accidental deletion or formatting while files are being reviewed or offloaded. An LED indicator shows when write protection is active.

Stable Stream Sustained Performance

Angelbird Stable Stream technology is designed to maintain consistent write performance throughout recording rather than only providing high peak speeds at the beginning of a transfer.

Solid Connect USB-C Port

The recessed Solid Connect USB-C port is integrated into the drive housing to protect the connection and reduce cable strain during mobile and camera-mounted operation.

Broad Device Compatibility

The SSD supports macOS, iPadOS, iOS, Windows, Linux and Android together with compatible USB-C cameras and devices. It is supplied preformatted with exFAT for broad cross-platform compatibility.

Compact Aluminium Design

The aluminium enclosure measures 70 x 45.5 x 9.5mm and weighs approximately 50g, providing a compact portable format suitable for camera rigs and mobile workstations.

Protection And Drive Management

Technical features include a temperature sensor, TRIM, ECC, EMS protection, SMART support, power management, overload protection, ESD protection and wear levelling. Built-in EDC and ECC functions provide additional data-reliability protection.

Operating Environment

The SSD is specified for operation from -10°C to 40°C at 5% to 95% non-condensing humidity, with a storage temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
