The Wise USB-C 10Gbps CFexpress Type A and SD UHS-II Card Reader is a professional media reader designed to ingest footage and photography from CFexpress Type A and SD UHS-II cards to a compatible computer. Model WA-CXS06 is differentiated by its exact media slot selection: choose the correct Type A or Type B configuration for your recording media.
Interfaces and Media Workflow
It uses a USB 3.2 Gen 2 connection rated up to 10 Gbps with a USB Type-C port. This figure is a host interface bandwidth rating, not a guaranteed real-world file-copy speed. Throughput depends on the inserted card, cable, computer, interface mode and destination storage.
The aluminium construction is intended to help disperse heat during high-volume file ingest. Its 69.8 × 62 × 21 mm enclosure makes the reader practical for editing suites, DIT workstations and location backups.
Compatibility and Product Details
The reader accepts CFexpress Type A and SD UHS-II; Type A and Type B media differ in physical size and cannot be interchanged. A recording card is not included. Wise lists a two-year manufacturer limited warranty with an optional additional year when registered as specified.
