It provides native 6Gb SAS host connectivity for compatible host systems. Each LTO-8 cartridge stores 12TB native / up to 30TB compressed, giving a fully loaded eight-slot library up to 96TB native / 240TB compressed media capacity (2.5:1 compression assumption).

The SymplyPRO XTL 8 LTO-8 is a compact 1U automated tape library with eight cartridge slots and one fitted half-height LTO-8 drive. This exact configuration has a native 6Gb SAS host interface (SFF-8088). A compatible host interface, backup/archive software and LTO media are required.
A fully populated XTL 8 with LTO-8 cartridges provides up to 96TB native / 240TB compressed cartridge capacity, based on an assumed 2.5:1 compression ratio. The single half-height LTO-8 drive supports up to 300MB/s native transfer performance.
The chassis has two removable magazines, one import/export mail slot and an integrated barcode reader. Front-panel controls and a password-protected web interface support library administration and alerts. With suitable software and media, the system supports hardware AES-256 encryption, WORM retention and LTFS archive workflows.
For 8Gb Fibre Channel connectivity, select the corresponding XTL 8 LTO-8 8Gb Fibre Channel product instead.

Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard Symply Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).
