The Sonnet xMac mini (2024+) / Echo III T5 System (XMM-SYS-III-T5) combines the current xMac mini computer module with Sonnet's three-slot Echo III Thunderbolt 5 expansion architecture in a 2U rackmount enclosure.
The Echo III T5 module supports three full-height, full-length, single-width cards, or one double-width card plus one single-width card. Its slot layout provides x8/x8, x16/x8 and x8/x4 mechanical/electrical PCIe 3.1 connectivity.
The module provides two Thunderbolt 5 ports and up to 3500 MB/s aggregate PCIe bandwidth. Installed cards share the available host bandwidth through the Echo III PCIe bridge.
The xMac mini module houses one or two 2024+ Mac minis with front power controls, front USB-C access, cable passthroughs, a shared power hub and space for two compact external SSDs.
A universal 400W power supply supports installed PCIe cards, with a 6-pin auxiliary connection providing up to 75W of supplemental power for compatible hardware.
Sonnet lists XMM-SYS-III-T5 as the current Thunderbolt 5 three-slot xMac mini configuration, succeeding the earlier XMM-SYS-III system that used the previous-generation Echo III module.

Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard Sonnet Technology Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).
