Hedge Canister LTO Archiving Software – 5 Years of Updates – Product Overview
Hedge Canister makes LTO tape archives accessible through a straightforward drag-and-drop interface on macOS and Windows. This supplier-listed five-year updates package is intended for customers planning a longer software update horizon alongside a perpetual Canister licence.
LTO Archive and Retrieval
Canister creates searchable tape catalogues, supports archive queues and spanning, and offers verification and transfer records for dependable professional archive handover.
Understanding the Licence
The Canister application itself is perpetual under Hedge's standard licence model. Five years refers to the updates option named in the supplied reseller catalogue, not a five-year limit on using an already licensed version. Confirm exact update entitlement and delivery with Rent a Raid before ordering.
