The Glyph Atom EX80 8TB is a high-intensity, portable USB4 SSD engineered for professional creative workflows that require sustained throughput and reliable operation.
It combines USB4 80Gbps connectivity with passive thermal management, integrated tracking, and a magnetic mounting system to support on-set, studio and mobile use.
The Atom EX80 uses a USB4 Type-C (80Gbps) interface to deliver real-world transfer speeds up to 7,000 MB/s, enabling direct editing of large RAW video files and rapid backup of high-capacity media.
SteadyIO™ technology keeps read and write speeds consistent over extended transfers so performance does not collapse once caches fill.
Built-in mobile device location tracking allows the drive to be located via native Apple and Android tracking software, helping secure hardware and content on the move.
The drive is compatible with MagSafe mounting surfaces and will also attach to ferrous metal, offering versatile mounting options for rigs, cases and workstations.
A solid aluminium core and outer shell provide improved heat dissipation and a higher thermal ceiling for longer sustained performance without active cooling.
Atom EX80 is compatible with Thunderbolt 5/4/3 and USB4 hosts and supports mobile platforms such as iPhone/iPad and Android devices that provide USB-C connectivity.
The aluminium exo-skeleton with a soft composite bumper is designed to meet MIL-Standard 810F for shock, vibration and dust resistance to protect data in transit and on location.

Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard Glyph Technology Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).
Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between 9 am and 6 pm.
Orders placed after 2 pm on Fridays and weekends will be processed as normal the following Monday.
Orders placed on Bank Holidays will be processed the next working day.
