The ATTO FastFrame AIR N422 – Long Range uses the same dual-port 25/10GbE N422-AIR SmartNIC platform as the standard optics version, but is supplied with long-range SFP28 optics for extended-distance fibre connections.
The adapter connects through PCIe 3.0 x8 and combines ATTO’s Advanced Heat Baffling Technology with RoCE and TCP/UDP/IP stateless offloads for professional workstation networking.

ATTO FastFrame AIR N422 – Long Range – Product Overview
The FastFrame AIR N422 – Long Range combines the N422-AIR 25/10GbE SmartNIC platform with long-range SFP28 optics for installations requiring extended fibre reach. The underlying adapter hardware and performance specifications are the same as the standard N422-AIR configuration.
Long-Range Optical Configuration
This LRA version is supplied with long-range SFP28 optics in place of the standard transceivers, while retaining the same dual-port N422-AIR card platform.
Dual-Port 25/10GbE Connectivity
The adapter provides two SFP28 interfaces for 25GbE and 10GbE networking.
PCIe 3.0 x8 Host Interface
An x8 mechanical and electrical PCI Express 3.0 interconnect connects the SmartNIC to the host workstation.
Networking Offloads
ATTO lists RDMA over Converged Ethernet together with TCP, UDP and IP stateless offloads. Jumbo frames up to 9K are supported for high-throughput network workflows.
Current Operating-System Support
ATTO currently lists Windows 11 and 10, Windows Server 2016 and 2012, FreeBSD, and current RHEL and SLES kernels for the N422-AIR platform. ATTO's current product page explicitly states that this product does not presently support macOS.

ATTO Technology Delivery Information
Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard ATTO Technology Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).
Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between 9 am and 6 pm.
Orders placed after 2 pm on Fridays and weekends will be processed as normal the following Monday.
Orders placed on Bank Holidays will be processed the next working day.
