– The UK’s Areca RAID Experts! The Areca ARC-Caddy 8TB Enterprise is a hot-swappable replacement caddy with an 8TB 7200rpm enterprise-class hard drive fitted. It is intended for compatible current and earlier Areca RAID systems already using 8TB drives.
The fitted enterprise hard drive carries a five-year manufacturer warranty. The stated 8TB capacity refers to this single replacement drive, not the capacity of an entire RAID array.
The ARC-Caddy provides a capacity-matched replacement for an existing 8TB drive in a compatible Areca RAID installation.
Please check the exact Areca RAID model and existing drive capacity before ordering if compatibility is uncertain.
