The SymplyPRO XTL 80 LTO-10 is an expandable 6U automated tape library with 80 cartridge slots in the base chassis. This exact product has 1 installed full-height LTO-10 drive and native 32Gb Fibre Channel connectivity.
Enterprise tape capacity
Loaded with 80 compatible LTO-10 tapes, the base library provides up to 2400TB native / 6000TB compressed capacity on a 2.5:1 compression assumption. Each drive transfers up to 400MB/s natively. The modular XTL 80 family supports further expansion; these figures are for the initial 80 slots only.
Library management and media security
Automated robotics, removable magazines and barcode identification support reliable retention and inventory. Local and browser management provide media and library controls. Choose suitable 32Gb Fibre Channel host hardware and backup software. AES-256 encryption, WORM and LTFS are supported where the tape media and software permit. LTO-10 drives use LTO-10 media only and are not backwards compatible with LTO-9 cartridges.
