The SymplyPRO XTL 40 LTO-9 Dual 10GbE iSCSI tape library is a 3U automated archive system with 40 cartridge slots and two installed half-height LTO-9 tape drives. The host interface is Dual 10GbE iSCSI.
Using compatible LTO-9 media, each cartridge has 18TB native / up to 45TB compressed capacity (2.5:1 assumption), providing up to 720TB native across 40 slots. Designed for managed backup, long-term retention and offline tape archive.

The SymplyPRO XTL 40 LTO-9 combines an expandable 3U tape library chassis with 40 cartridge slots. This exact configuration contains 2 installed half-height LTO-9 drives and Dual 10GbE iSCSI host connectivity.
Scalable automated LTO backup
In the 40-slot base module, 18TB-native LTO-9 cartridges provide up to 720TB native / 1800TB compressed total media capacity using a 2.5:1 compression assumption. Native tape throughput is up to 300MB/s per fitted drive.
Library administration and secure retention
The XTL 40 includes automated media handling, removable magazines, barcode-based inventory and secure management from the local panel or browser interface. Hardware encryption, WORM tape and LTFS require compatible media and archive applications. For Dual 10GbE iSCSI, choose the matching host connectivity and software before ordering.
