The Sonnet Echo 6 USB-C Multi Hub (ECHO-HB6-USBC) combines high-speed USB expansion, 5Gb Ethernet and HDMI output in a lightweight portable hub for Mac, Windows and compatible iPad systems.
The hub connects through a captive USB-C cable using USB 3.2 Gen 2. Two USB-A ports and one USB-C peripheral port each support data transfer rates up to 10Gbps.
The RJ45 port uses a Realtek RTL8157 controller and supports 5Gbps, 2.5Gbps and 1Gbps Ethernet over suitable cabling, providing a substantial networking upgrade for systems without built-in high-speed Ethernet.
The HDMI 2.0 port supports up to 4K at 60Hz, 1440p at 60Hz and 1080p at 120Hz. HDMI output requires a Thunderbolt host or a USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode.
A dedicated USB-C power input accepts up to 100W. With an appropriate power adapter connected, the hub can provide up to 85W to the host while reserving 15W for its own operation. The hub does not include a power adapter.
The Echo 6 weighs only 86g and includes a captive 0.2m USB-C cable, making it suitable for mobile workstations and compact desktop setups.
