The Glyph Blackbox PRO RAID Thunderbolt 3 60TB combines two enterprise-class 7,200rpm hard drives with hardware RAID and dual 40Gbps Thunderbolt 3 ports. Glyph specifies transfer speeds up to 550MB/s, while the second Thunderbolt port supports daisy-chaining up to five additional devices.
The system ships in RAID 0 and also supports RAID 1, JBOD/CLEAR and SPAN/BIG without RAID management software. A DisplayPort output supports a direct 4K display, and selected versions add CFast 2.0, SD UHS-II and USB-A 10Gbps connectivity.

The Glyph Blackbox PRO RAID Thunderbolt 3 60TB is a dual-drive desktop RAID for high-capacity creative storage, media production and project archiving. It combines two enterprise-class 7,200rpm hard drives with a hardware RAID controller, dual Thunderbolt 3 connectivity and DisplayPort.
Dual Thunderbolt 3 Connectivity
Two 40Gbps Thunderbolt 3 ports provide host connectivity and daisy-chain support for up to five additional devices from a single computer connection.
Up To 550MB/s Performance
Glyph specifies transfer speeds up to 550MB/s. Actual performance varies with RAID mode, workload, host system and file system.
Hardware RAID 0, RAID 1, JBOD And SPAN
The enclosure ships configured as RAID 0 for maximum throughput. RAID 1 mirrors the two drives for redundancy at half the raw capacity. CLEAR/JBOD presents the drives independently, while BIG/SPAN combines their capacity sequentially. RAID mode is controlled by the enclosure hardware and requires no RAID management application.
DisplayPort For A Direct 4K Display
A dedicated DisplayPort output allows a compatible 4K monitor to be connected directly to the Blackbox PRO RAID Thunderbolt 3.
Optional Media Hub Version
Glyph offers versions with an integrated CFast 2.0 reader, SD UHS-II reader and USB Type-A 10Gbps port for media ingest and peripheral connectivity. The standard version omits this hub.
Enterprise-Class Drives And Active Cooling
Two enterprise-class 7,200rpm hard drives sit inside an aluminium desktop enclosure with an intelligent quiet fan for sustained workflows.
Mac And Windows Workflows
The system is supplied formatted for macOS and is Time Machine compatible. It can be reformatted for Windows when required.

Glyph Technology Delivery Information
Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard Glyph Technology Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).
Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between 9 am and 6 pm.
Orders placed after 2 pm on Fridays and weekends will be processed as normal the following Monday.
Orders placed on Bank Holidays will be processed the next working day.
