The Glyph Blackbox PRO RAID USB 60TB is a two-drive desktop hardware RAID built with enterprise-class 7,200rpm hard drives and a USB-C 10Gbps interface. Glyph specifies transfer speeds up to 550MB/s for demanding creative and high-capacity storage workflows.
The enclosure ships configured as RAID 0 and also supports RAID 1, JBOD/CLEAR and SPAN/BIG without RAID management software. RAID 1 provides mirrored redundancy with half the raw capacity, while RAID 0 prioritises throughput and does not provide redundancy.

Glyph Blackbox PRO RAID USB – 60TB – Product Overview
The Glyph Blackbox PRO RAID USB 60TB is a dual-drive desktop RAID system built for professional video, photography, audio and data workflows that need high-capacity enterprise-class storage with flexible hardware RAID.
Two 7,200rpm enterprise-class hard drives are managed by the enclosure's hardware RAID controller, with RAID 0, RAID 1, JBOD/CLEAR and SPAN/BIG modes available without software. The unit ships configured as RAID 0.
Enterprise-Class Dual-Drive Storage
Blackbox PRO RAID uses two enterprise-class 7,200rpm hard drives in a rugged desktop enclosure. The dual-drive design provides the flexibility to prioritise performance, redundancy or independent/spanned disk use depending on the selected RAID mode.
RAID 0, RAID 1, JBOD And SPAN
RAID 0 stripes data across both drives for maximum throughput but provides no redundancy. RAID 1 mirrors data across both drives for resilience at the cost of half the raw capacity. CLEAR/JBOD mounts the two drives independently, while BIG/SPAN combines them into one logical volume by filling one disk before continuing onto the second.
Up To 550MB/s Over USB-C
The USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 interface provides up to 10Gbps link bandwidth, with Glyph specifying transfer performance up to 550MB/s. The interface is compatible with USB 3.0 and Thunderbolt 3 hosts, subject to host limitations.
Hardware RAID Without Management Software
RAID mode is controlled by the enclosure hardware. Glyph's user guide documents a rear-panel mode selector and SET procedure, so the storage mode can be changed without installing RAID management software. Changing RAID mode erases existing data and therefore requires a backup first.
No Integrated Media Hub On This SKU
This BBPR60000RAIDEU configuration is supplied without the optional integrated media hub. Glyph also offers separate Blackbox PRO RAID configurations with CFast 2.0, SD UHS-II and USB Type-A hub connectivity; those ports are not fitted to this SKU.
Cooling And Desktop Power
An intelligent quiet fan manages airflow through the dual-drive enclosure during sustained operation. The system uses an external power supply and includes both USB-C to USB-C and USB-C to USB-A cables.
Mac And Windows Workflows
Blackbox PRO RAID is supplied formatted for macOS and can be reformatted for Windows. Glyph's manual includes Windows and macOS formatting guidance as well as RAID-mode setup instructions.

Glyph backs Blackbox PRO RAID with three years of full hardware coverage, two years of Level-1 data recovery and one year of advance replacement.

Glyph Technology Delivery Information
Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard Glyph Technology Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).
Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between 9 am and 6 pm.
Orders placed after 2 pm on Fridays and weekends will be processed as normal the following Monday.
Orders placed on Bank Holidays will be processed the next working day.
