The ATTO ExpressNVM S48F is an internal PCIe 4.0 NVMe switch host adapter designed to connect up to eight x4-lane NVMe drives through a PCIe 4.0 x16 host interface.
Four physical x8 SlimSAS SFF-8654 connectors each carry two independent x4 PCIe 4.0 device connections, while ATTO’s onboard FPGA provides enterprise management and diagnostics.

Eight x4 NVMe Drive Connections
The ExpressNVM S48F is designed for high-performance internal NVMe storage pools, providing eight independent x4 PCIe 4.0 device connections through four SlimSAS SFF-8654 connectors.
PCIe 4.0 x16 Host Interface
An x16 PCIe 4.0 host connection provides up to 32GB/s of adapter throughput and remains backward compatible with PCIe 3.0 systems.
Enterprise NVMe Management
An onboard FPGA and management processor support out-of-band monitoring, telemetry, logging, device isolation, firmware updates, health statistics and predictive-failure analysis without relying on the primary I/O path.
Flexible NVMe Deployment
The S48F can connect compatible NVMe devices directly or through suitable backplanes and supports Windows, Linux, VMware and FreeBSD environments. Its low-profile MD2 form factor and active cooling are designed for dense server deployments.

ATTO Technology Delivery Information
Generally, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on standard ATTO Technology Delivery orders placed before 2 pm (subject to stock availability).
Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between 9 am and 6 pm.
Orders placed after 2 pm on Fridays and weekends will be processed as normal the following Monday.
Orders placed on Bank Holidays will be processed the next working day.
