The Areca ARC-8050T3U-4A provides high-performance hardware RAID storage in a compact 4-bay desktop form factor, pre-configured with four 24TB enterprise 7200rpm drives for 96TB total capacity.
It connects via dual Thunderbolt 3 ports at 40Gbps, enabling daisy-chaining and fast transfer of large files for video editing and multi-stream 4K workflows, while also supporting USB 3.2 Gen 2 for broader compatibility.
Hardware RAID Capabilities
The unit features a single-core 800MHz SAS ROC processor with 1GB DDR3-800 ECC SDRAM cache, delivering true hardware RAID without taxing host CPU resources.
Supported RAID levels include 0, 1, 10, 3, 5, 6, single disk, and JBOD, providing options for speed, redundancy, or capacity based on user needs.
Connectivity and Expansion
Dual Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports allow connection to Thunderbolt-enabled hosts and daisy-chaining up to five additional enclosures, with a second port for peripherals or notebook charging.
A full-size DisplayPort 1.4 enables 8K 30Hz video output, and an RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet port supports out-of-band management.

Areca Technology Delivery Information
In general, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on Areca equipment orders placed before 2pm (subject to stock availability).
We kindly advise you let us preconfigure each Areca RAID (as RAID5, RAID6 etc), so they arrive properly setup, ready to “plug’n’play”.
This is a free service, and takes 1-2 days prior to shipping.
Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between the hours of 9am and 6pm.
Orders placed after 2pm on Fridays and on weekends will be processed as normal the following Monday.
Orders placed on Bank Holidays will be processed the next working day.
If urgent, please call one of our helpful account managers so they may double check everything for you, enabling you to place your order with confidence.
