The Areca ARC-8050T3U-4A is a 4-bay desktop RAID enclosure pre-populated with four 14TB 3.5-inch SATA III HDDs for 56TB total capacity.
It connects via dual Thunderbolt 3 ports supporting 40 Gbps speeds and is compatible with USB 3.2 Gen 2 hosts.
Hardware RAID functionality is powered by a single-core 800 MHz SAS ROC processor with 1GB DDR3 cache.

The Areca ARC-8050T3U-4A provides high-capacity, hardware RAID storage optimized for Thunderbolt 3 workflows in professional video editing, data backup, and content creation environments.
Equipped with four 14TB enterprise-grade 3.5-inch SATA III HDDs, it delivers 56TB of reliable storage with RAID protection for data integrity and performance.
Host Connectivity
Dual Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports enable 40 Gbps data transfers and daisy-chaining up to five additional devices.
A full-size DisplayPort 1.4 supports 8K 30Hz video output, while an RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet port allows network access.
Backward compatibility with USB 3.2 Gen 2 hosts activates via USB-C without Thunderbolt requirements.

Areca Technology Delivery Information
In general, next working day delivery services (UK Mainland) are available on Areca equipment orders placed before 2pm (subject to stock availability).
We kindly advise you let us preconfigure each Areca RAID (as RAID5, RAID6 etc), so they arrive properly setup, ready to “plug’n’play”.
This is a free service, and takes 1-2 days prior to shipping.
Non-timed deliveries should be delivered between the hours of 9am and 6pm.
Orders placed after 2pm on Fridays and on weekends will be processed as normal the following Monday.
Orders placed on Bank Holidays will be processed the next working day.
If urgent, please call one of our helpful account managers so they may double check everything for you, enabling you to place your order with confidence.
